I am an experienced public sector manager, policy analyst and elected official who has volunteered, worked and advocated in Washington, DC for more than a decade. I currently work at the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), leading the agency’s policy and legislative work. My previous policy work at the agency has focused on developing policy solutions to repurposing public space, expanding mobility options and innovating through emerging technology.

Before coming to DDOT, I worked at the local LGBT community center, where I implemented social policy on the ground. I enrolled residents in health insurance subsidy programs and Medicaid; connected clients to temporary and affordable housing; and organized health and employment-focused Spanish-language community events.

In 2017, I received my Master of Public Policy from the George Washington University’s Trachtenberg School, concentrating on social issues as well as urban/local policy analysis. My studies covered topics such as affordable housing, transportation, poverty and community development.

In January 2023, I was sworn in as the Commissioner to represent Single Member District 2F07 in ANC 2F. I serve as our Commission’s Vice-Chair.

In my free time, I enjoy studying Italian, photography, 20th century cinema, reading, video editing and baking.
